Visit our Church Library
Do you want to grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ? We have a collection of good Christian literature right here in our church library. You'll find books to increase your knowledge of theology and to encourage you in practical Christian living. We also have Biblical studies, commentaries, classic sermons, and reference books, as well as works on church history. We have titles by some of our favorite authors such as John Bunyan, J. Gresham Machen, J.I. Packer, J.C. Ryle, Francis Schaeffer, R.C. Sproul, and C.H. Spurgeon, just to name a few. We also have a small collection of devotionals, audio cassettes, video tapes, fiction, and children’s books. Our magazine rack includes past issues of The Banner of Truth and Table Talk. We have a broad selection of tracts and pamphlets available as well.
The library is available to all church members. It is open before and after worship services, prayer meetings, and Bible studies, or at other times when the meetinghouse is open. Library loans are on an honor system. Please consult the printed sheet posted on the video cabinet for instructions on how to check out books.

Where did popular culture come from? Why is it the way it is? How does it influence Americans in general and Christians in particular? Ken Myers provides fascinating answers to these questions. He sees pop culture as a culture of diversion, preventing people from asking questions about their origin and destiny and about the meaning of life. Two aspects stand out--a quest for novelty and a desire for instant gratification. In addition, this culture offers something very appealing--the illusion that you set your own standards, you can choose, you are the master of your fate, you deserve a break, you're worth it.
"Ken Myers has made an excellent contribution here, dealing not only with the roots of popular culture in social history and philosophy but also with its ultimate impact on character." --Dick Keyes, L'Abri Fellowship
"... honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you;" 1 Peter 3:15
